Established in 1992, Slabaugh Farms is a family-owned farm in Chesapeake, Virginia. Initially raising beef cattle, corn, soybeans, wheat, and oats, the farm expanded to include a peach orchard in 2009 with help from family friend James Wenger. The orchard quickly grew to 1,500 trees by 2010. Mount Pleasant Farms officially started in 2011 with its first peach harvest.

Since then, we have added more pick-your-own options including a Strawberry Patch, Pumpkin Patch, and Blackberries. We also have Free Range Chickens that provide brown eggs for sale in our store and offer wholesale opportunities to restaurants and other markets.
